Prerequisites

Course Entry Requirements

Applicants for the ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Healthcare and Social Care Support Skills should meet the following criteria to ensure they are prepared for advanced-level study:

  • Learners must be 18 years or older at the time of enrollment.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field is recommended, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience working in healthcare or social care settings is desirable to fully engage with practical and leadership aspects of the course.
  • Learners must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to complete assessments.

Candidates must achieve 55 credits:

  • a maximum of 7 credits may be from Optional Group C
  • 31 credits from the Mandatory units in Group A, plus
  • a minimum of 17 credits from Optional Group B
