Prerequisites

Course Entry Requirements

Applicants for the ProQual Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement should meet the following entry criteria to ensure they are prepared for this assessor‑level qualification:

  • Applicants must be at least 19 years old at the time of enrolment.
  • No formal academic qualifications are required, although a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in the subject area being assessed is recommended to support understanding.
  • Learners should have access to vocational learners in a real or simulated environment, as the qualification requires practical assessment activities and evidence gathering.
  • Some experience or knowledge of vocational training or assessment is beneficial, but not essential, as the course introduces the core principles and practices of assessment.
  • Learners should have a good standard of English to read, understand, and complete written assignments and assessment documentation.

Course Content

Detailed Curriculum Structure

ProQual Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement consists of 2 mandatory units having 54 GLH and 90 Hours TQT. Candidates must complete all of the following Mandatory units.
