The qualification is expected to provide an established route towards eligibility for the Transitional Safety Practitioner® (TSP®) designation.
Learners who have successfully completed, or are currently studying, the qualification may be eligible to apply for the TSP® designation once the programme is formally included on the BCSP Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) List and the applicable eligibility period begins.
Expected QEP Listing: October 2026
Eligibility to apply for the TSP® designation will be subject to the official BCSP QEP listing, the applicable programme dates, and the BCSP requirements in effect at the time of application. According to BCSP requirements, individuals holding a credential from a Qualified Equivalent Program may apply for the TSP® designation during the programme's specified Applicable Dates.
