Prerequisites

Course Entry Requirements

Applicants for this qualification should meet the following criteria to ensure they are prepared for study and assessment at Level 6:

Learners are generally expected to be 19 years or older at the time of enrollment.
A suitable level of prior education is recommended, typically including basic literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills to support study at Level 6. Previous qualifications in construction or management at Level 4 or 5 may be beneficial.
Applicants should be working in, or have access to, a construction site management role where they are responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring projects. This ensures learners can gather workplace evidence and apply skills in practice.
Learners must demonstrate sufficient ability to read, write, and communicate in English to complete written assignments, produce reports, and understand technical documentation and health and safety legislation.

The ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management, to achieve the qualification candidates must complete the Mandatory/Optional Units from one of the Pathways. Candidates may also complete any of the Additional Units, but these will not count towards the qualification
