Course Entry Requirements

Applicants for the NOCN Level 3 Award in Education and Training should meet the following entry criteria to ensure they have the foundational knowledge and skills required for successful completion of this qualification:

  • Learners are generally expected to be 16 years or older at the time of enrollment.
  • A suitable level of prior education is recommended. While no formal teaching qualification is required, applicants should have basic literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills to support study at Level 3.
  • No prior teaching experience is necessary; however, applicants should ideally have some exposure to learning or training environments and an interest in developing teaching skills.
